My name is Christa Duquette and my path to Doula support has been a wonderful journey through motherhood and learning to embrace the path that has taken me from my past into what lays ahead. For me being a Doula is a calling and a passion with a desire to provide support through the journey of childbirth. Recently this passion has gently lead me to Bereavement and Loss support as I continue to grow as a Doula.

I am a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International and recently completed my StillBirthday certification. I have had the honour of supporting clients since 2012 and am looking forward to offering more Bereavement supports within my community.

Together with my husband, we have three children who live on our family farm, Two daughters and a little boy and also a sweet angle who lives with my baby sister and baby brother in heaven.

I am a member of the Red Deer Doula Association as well as I also work with the Volunteer Doula Program at Olds Hospital, the Calgary CARE Doulas and a Grief Support Group Facilitator with Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Center in Olds, helping to reach those who are looking for support.

It is a blessing to be able to do this and I truly appreciate the opportunity to come along side those who contact me.
